學經歷
Ke-Horng Chen (M’04–SM’09) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1994, 1996, and 2003, respectively.
He is currently a Chair Professor with the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering and an Associate Dean of College of Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he organized the Mixed-Signal and Power Management IC Laboratory. He is the author or coauthor of more than 330 papers published in journals and conferences, and also holds several over one hundred patents.
His current research interests include power management ICs, mixed-signal circuit designs, gate driver designs for GaN and SiC power devices, VLSI, low power circuit designs, display algorithm and driver designs of liquid crystal display (LCD) TV, red, green, and blue (RGB) color sequential backlight designs.
Dr. Chen has served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics since 2011, IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics since 2020, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers since 2014 to 2019, and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs in 2012-2013; served as an Editorial Board Member of the Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing since 2013. He was a Guest Editor of Journal of Solid-State Circuits in 2023. He was the General Co-Chair of the 2018 International Workshop on Power Supply on Chip (PwrSoC), and served in the technical committees of many important international conferences, such as ISSCC (since 2020), ISCAS (since 2010), ESSCIRC (since 2015), CICC in 2016, ECCE-Asia in 2021. In addition, he served as the Chairperson of the Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) Taipei Chapter in 2015-2016, in which, during his tenue, the Chapter’s membership increased considerably, and the attendees for the versatile activities he organized, such as meetings, seminars, and DLP talks in the Taipei Chapter, also increased significantly. Thus, he was awarded with an IEEE Outstanding Chapter Chairperson Award, and he is currently serving as a Director of the Board of the IEEE Taipei Section.
