Learning Experience
15 years of experience in wireless communication research and 14 years of experience in cellular SOC design/implementation and commercialization. • Led system team for baseband modem chipset design at Broadcom and drove team’s innovations to ensure Broadcom’s solution remain to be competitive in the fast-changing cellular market space. • Hands-on in managements and has personally driven the advanced receiver designs and baseband technology advancements for Broadcom. • Architect for the HW/SW functional partition, designer for HSDPA/HSUPA data path optimization, and EDGE incremental redundancy. • Participated in Broadcom’s modem due diligent activities in acquisitions of WCDMA and WiMax/LTE technologies. • Over 80 issued US patents (50+ with Broadcom ), 15+ pending (Broadcom).
Research Expertise
  • Architect for the 5G enterprise end-end system solution for different vertical applications, 100 million USD 5G project funded by DoIT/MoEA from 2017 to 2021
